We're looking for an experienced Project Manager based in South America to support a 3 month contract. There is potential for this opportunity to evolve into a permanent position with the team, based on performance. You must be able commit 40 hours per week, 9am-5pm Monday to Friday,working in Pacific time.
Role Responsibilities:
Manage globalization/localization projects, including kick-off meetings, design review, translations, linguistic QA, bug scrub, validation, and post mortem.
Consult on digital product requirements and UX designs by representing, implementing, and educating on localization/ globalization digital content best practices.
Discover new project scope, gather requirements, create plan and schedule, identify risks.
Manage multiple simultaneous localization and translation-related projects for Commerce in the Cloud and Commerce Web Experiences, Digital App’s, and related digital assets.
Maintain projects using industry best practices including, strategic implementation of TMS leverage, glossary maintenance, etc.
Liaison with partners in Global markets to continually support an international team of linguists, language specialists, and brand partners.
Manage Kanban board and project management workflow using JIRA.
Manages day-to-day activities, oversees project scope, schedules, and resources as well as ensuring the project is on track and meets its objectives.
Scope of Projects: Typically handling smaller to mid-sized projects with less complexity.
Qualifications:
2-4 years experience with project management, utilizing agile methodology
