About the role:
Acquia is seeking a Principal Salesforce Administrator to join the Enterprise Business Systems Team in the Information Technology department. This position will play a pivotal role in continuing to enhance the Salesforce experience of Acquia's users.
As the Principal Salesforce Administrator you will:
Serve as a subject matter expert and systems administrator for Salesforce
Be responsible for the day-to-day configurations, support, maintenance and improvement of Salesforce
Manage new and existing Salesforce integrations
Work closely with functional leaders to translate business needs into a recommended design for development
Implement declarative development solutions to meet business user requirements; work with development team as needed to implement code solutions
Log, track, prioritize, manage and document issues, bugs, enhancement and feature requests in ticketing system
Work closely with team members to share best practices, lessons learned, solution details, etc. to help continue growing the team's knowledge of Salesforce
Minimum Qualifications:
8-13 years of experience working as a Salesforce Administrator
Salesforce Advanced Administrator Certification
Salesforce Service Cloud Consultant Certification
Experience supporting, designing, and developing Salesforce in an enterprise environment
Proven track record of understanding complex business requirements
Experience troubleshooting and implementing automations such as process builder and flow
Understanding of CPQ, products and price books
Experience integrating and configuring managed packages and API integrations such as Intacct, Gainsight, Conga, Mavenlink, etc.
Ability to support stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle
Ability to create test scripts for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) as new features are deployed
Understanding of deployment best practices, including documenting user acceptance tests/sign offs to ensure the quality of developed solutions prior to production deployment
Deep understanding of business processes as they relate to the Salesforce application
Comfortable with APEX code (our goal is to have minimal APEX used)
Background in consulting is a plus
