Your Role and Responsibilities
L3 Software Support and Development Engineer to be integral part of a team responsible for Product Development of Power VC product on Power. Analysing the customer defects, root causing the issues, collaborating with dev, test and customers to resolve the issues is the core responsibility. Owning the i Fix delivery process and ensuring high ratings for customer satisfaction is the key goal. Opportunity to directly work with customers, get a deep understanding of their configurations and collaborate with the leads to get the concerns/issues addressed. Deliver code fixes to the GA'd releases is the primary work item.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Minimum 3-5 years in software support role
Software Engineering and Development (debug)
Programming lang: python, Ansible, React JS,
fluent in English
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Systems programming on Linux, Red Hat
Preferred domain expertise in Virtualization on IBM Power Hardware Systems
Experience working on Open Stack
