Planning & Forecasting Regional Lead (LATAM)

The Planning & Forecasting Senior Manager will be supporting Business Unit Finance Team and Finance Director by leading annual and monthly/quarterly forecasts processes. P&F Director will be also responsible to coordinate, prepare scenarios, discuss, align and report the financial forecasting information of LATAM Business Unit, ensuring that managerial financial reporting is performed, in time and in the forms required by Corporate guidelines, facilitating managerial decision making.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Short term Forecast, Annual Business Plan and Long-Range Strategic Plan preparation process/calendar.
Work with Business Unit finance and other colleagues within LATAM to create Forecasts.
Accountable for creating, updating, and maintaining financial models to provide detailed monthly and quarterly forecasts.
Able to simplify and standardize processes/activities to increase efficiency and focus the team in more add value activities.
Understand assumptions and drive P&L and Cash flow planning.
Compare and comment on forecasts against budgets, prior year and prior month forecasts.
Perform variance analysis and comment on performance making recommendations of improvements going forward.
Understand the link between plan & actuals.
Preparing internal management reports for executive leadership and supporting their decision making
Completing ad-hoc reporting requests from in-market finance teams or the Finance Director
Encourage a one finance team sense of belonging from different geographies.
Lead a team of 10+ professionals providing guidance, mentoring and development support.

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration or finance
Minimum 7 years of experience in financial planning, budgeting, financial controlling, and analysis preferably gathered in a corporate environment in a multinational company.
Advanced English & Spanish level
Proficient financial knowledge of analysis, evaluation, modelling and forecasting with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication, writing and presentation skills including communication with senior stakeholders.
Have a team leadership experience.
