The One Stream COE team plays a critical role in driving/achieving Global FP&A and Citi Finance's target state architecture agenda. The team reports to the Head, Global FP&A, and works closely with partners across the firm including Finance, Technology, Capital Planning, Risk, and the respective business areas. This group will drive the end-to-end implementation of the One Stream Infrastructure across finance, contributing to a more robust and mature end state vision for forecasting transformation. The team will play a critical role in scoping key business requirements for planning and forecasting cycles, and ensuring the software is available to deliver robust business plans at various levels of the organization.
The Governance, Program & Project Management (GP&P) Intermediate Analyst is a developing professional role and the Analyst will play a key role in driving the COEs objectives. This role sits at the intersection of finance and technology. The ideal candidate will need to have a strong technical background working with planning technology solutions and a desire to develop a solid understanding of financial planning processes.
The candidate will also work across a spectrum of key stakeholders to ensure expectations are managed and critical objectives are met through the development and design process. This combination of skills and experience along with a curiosity to learn about the business are necessary to develop effective solutions and transform how FP&A advises our business partners.
The ideal candidate: deals with most problems independently and has some latitude to solve complex problems. Integrates in-depth specialty area knowledge with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices. Has a good understanding of how the team and area integrate with others in accomplishing the objectives of the subfunction/ job family. Applies analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies. Requires attention to detail when making judgments and recommendations based on the analysis of information. Typically deals with variable issues with potentially broader business impact. Applies professional judgment when interpreting data and results. Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain One Stream Software applications - assist the One Stream Center Of Excellence in partnering with businesses and functions to map use case requirements against the One Stream application

Develop analytical proof-of-concept prototypes and/ or deliver large-scale analytical platform implementations to fulfill clients' tactical and strategic requirements.

Develop business procedures and data management policies for ensuring data accuracy and control.

Create model documentation, developing implementation roadmaps, and perform knowledge transfers.

Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:

1-5+ years of experience with VB.Net coding.

Experience with C#, SQL and/or Python is a plus.

Desirable One Stream experience in building metadata, business rules, forms, designing cube views, workflow, data reconciliation, data integrations, quick views/reports, dimensions, hierarchies, dashboards and automations via rules.

Desirable prior implementation experience with Hyperion and/or Host Analytics within professional services or industry.

Highly desirable understanding of financial forecasting processes such as modeling and data visualization.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Strong interpersonal skills (communication & listening) with the ability to build relationships across a wide range of global stakeholders with various levels of seniority.

Experience working with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Lean Startup, XP) and multi-functional teams (Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Developers, Designers, Data Analysts)

Should be able to design, build, configure and deploy applications based on CPM business requirements and processes.

Ability to translate technical concepts to business concepts and vice versa.
Education:

Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience in Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or related fields.
