RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform data mining, and advanced statistical/relational analysis of large data sets to identify and correct inconsistencies; anomalies in enterprise master data.
Analyze, visualize, articulate, and solve complex problems related to data quality and consistency on large data sets.
Provide insights and recommendations to the business and project teams to drive master data related decisions
Decision-making authority to manage and execute data related projects from development through delivery.
Train/educate MDM (master data management) Specialists on methods of system
utilization and identify opportunities to increase productivity.
Develop and perform ad-hoc Master Data related queries and reports to support business
needs. Requirements
Bachelor's degree and 1 – 2 years related experience with advanced statistical and relational analysis skills.
Experience and knowledge of departmental functions, terminology, and interrelationships for data types such as experience developing supplier relationships, creating and executing project plans and demonstrating excellent follow-up skills.
Exposure and a basic understanding of GS1 Standards
Theoretical knowledge of statistics and quantitative analysis techniques (e.g., spreadsheet modeling, regression analysis)
Intermediate Microsoft Excel (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, graphing, data connections, and automation using macros and VBA) skills
Master Data Management application experience
The MDM Analyst will adapt to varying project needs. May include working on call-out tasks for few months, followed by email campaigns as required by business needs. Performing transactional work (Making calls 100% of the time) , with a gradual focus on reporting and project involvement, necessitating a deep understanding of the business.
Run queries within the relevant systems to ensure accurate reporting (Not platform owners)
Ability to perform advanced-level analysis, interpret and evaluate data, and recommend solutions to non-recurring problems
Advanced statistical and relational analysis skills including sound logical reasoning
Ability to think through multiple alternatives and potential consequences to determine the best outcome
Can scope and structure projects/ideas
Works productively across the enterprise and partners with others to achieve shared goals
Gather and present data either in Power Point or in front of a group
Communicates clearly and concisely; verbal and written
Must be able to think conceptually, strategically, and creatively with little oversight or direction

Requires strong organizational and time management skills as analysis are frequently performed with a short turnaround time frame
Methodical, hands-on, resourceful, and detail-oriented approach to problem-solving and analytical research
Able to build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, partners and colleagues
Microsoft Access, Power Point, Sequel Server, Tableau, Data Warehouse querying tools such as Business Objects nice to have
Schedule for the Role: 8 AM to 5 PM Central Time, Monday through Friday. Must work in the office for the first 3 months, with 3 days working on-site.
