The QA engineer is responsible for the Quality assurance of the applications developed to be used by agencies of Publicis Groupe. This includes detecting and reporting functional problems, meaning when the application does not behave as indicated in the requirements documentation, which could include business rules, UI design, responsive design, performance, and security.
Responsibilities:
Create manual test scenarios based on functional requirements
Create and track bugs/defects in different tracking platforms
Identify and inform effectively about potential quality issues and risks on projects
Sending status reports informing about status of the testing process, basic metrics, results of tests and raising relevant priority issues and risks
Qualifications
Formal Education, Certifications and Training
BS in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
Knowledge and Expertise
Experience with project and bug tracking tools as Jira or Azure Devops
Proficiency with functional testing and experience with non-functional testing
Experience creating and maintaining QA documentation like test plans, test cases and status reports and collecting metrics
Interpersonal Skills
Strong communication in the English language (written and oral) and customer interaction skills
Able to use independent judgment to plan, prioritize and organize a diversified workload.
Advanced written and verbal communication and presentation skills
