We are seeking a dedicated and proactive
HR Coordinator
to join our team in Costa Rica.
Responsibilities:
Provide accurate and efficient administrative support to staff.
Address HR queries as they arise daily.
Coordinate and delegate queries to the appropriate team members.
Assist with maintaining employee records and support onboarding, offboarding, and employee changes.
Support the management of various employee benefits programs, such as group insurance and pensions, ensuring benefit platforms are up to date.
Collaborate with the payroll and operations teams to address payroll changes and benefit queries.
Liaise with contractors and suppliers as needed.
Assist the People Team with planning offsite events.
Perform ad hoc duties as they arise.
Ensure we comply with Free Trade Zone Regulations (customs paperwork, local assets and tagging, audits, access visits).
Assist with IT equipment orders, import, and changes of equipment for employees and undertake control and registration of movements of IT assets as part of the Free Trade Zone Laws.
Coordination with Finance on payment requests, Pos, and invoices.
Provide support to HR to ensure occupational health local regulations are applied.
Requirements
Working proficiency in both English and Spanish
Proven experience as an HR coordinator or HR administrative support.
Experience and knowledge in CR Employment Law
Knowledge of human resources operations and best practices.
Hands-on experience with MS Office and HRIS systems.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Additional training and certification in Human Resource Management (CIPD) is advantageous.
