As ESG Engineering Manager, you will support the mills critical asset & mill infrastructure improvement plans to ensure BCP and to act as point of escalation from the countries & sectors for identifying & solving Environment, Safety and Governance (ESG) gaps by leveraging process/operational knowledge and exceptional technical expertise brought in inhouse or external sources. You are expected to coordinate the internal audit process to identify the gaps & work closely with regional ESG teams & engineering team to address them in timely manner.
In this role, you will:
Be critical member of a central team to lead gap analysis on ESG for our facilities & asset base. You will be coordinating the efforts to identify the gaps along with the regional ESG teams.
Build a solution base with expertise available inside the organization as well as from outside to clear gaps & also benchmark the status across Enterprise Markets (EM).
Develop Best Practices and transition them across EM in alignment with ESG stakeholders for EM markets.
Build a strong network of information across diverse set up in EM, to keep us on speed with changing needs in external environment.
Work closely with teams across EM on sustainability solutions in end-to-end manufacturing process which includes but not limited to our facilities being green, more sustainable, continuous improvement in emissions measured at all levels, implementing solutions to drive reduction material usage, fuel usage to reduce carbon footprint.
Work with Safety team centrally & across EM markets to define & improve the overall standards of our facilities from compliance to safe environment, support on asset platform design to improve the emissions & build in safety standards at right cost. Improving our ability to reapply solutions/BP across EM to standardize them.
Identify and mitigate risks within the circle of influence, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
Train on the appropriate methodologies and tools for each type of project.

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or a related field.
15+ years of relevant professional experience in which 10+ years in a manufacturing process / projects role in Personal Care assets.
Previously demonstrated ability to successfully lead the execution of a global, regional, or functional initiative/ projects with proven business results.
Good interpersonal and communications skills to motivate, coach & coordinate a diverse group of team members across the Regions.
Ability to adapt to changes in a dynamic and developing domain.
General understanding of end-to-end supply chain interconnectivities relative to overall business implications.
Experience and expertise in statistical methods for process design & optimization, digital systems exposure is preferred.
Bring the outside in, ensure competitive understanding, industry benchmarks and global internal capabilities.
Influencing communication, problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate at all levels of a diverse global organization are essential in this role. Key stakeholders include, but not limited to, Senior Leadership, Research & Engineering, Quality, and Region/Mill teams.
Must be willing to travel approximately 20%, some of which is international.
