The Opportunity
As an Analyst in Field Analytics, you will play a key role in supporting both internal teams and external partners by providing data-driven insights and actionable recommendations. In this role, you'll use your analytical skills to evaluate shopper campaigns, develop targeted reports, and assist in optimizing client strategies. You'll collaborate closely with the sales team and clients, ensuring that data insights align with their business objectives and initiatives. This position requires proficiency in data integration and analysis, utilizing tools like Python, R, and Databricks to drive impactful results.
The position reports to the Executive Director of Field Analytics.
Providing analytical insights that identify and quantify business opportunities and lead to business opportunities and improved shopper campaign performance and new client initiatives
Analyze consumer data to provide digital/in-store campaign measurement and insights, and clearly present findings to internal stakeholders and senior field analytics team members.
Integrate consumer data from different types of data storage platforms using Python/R and Databricks
Developing standard and/or custom reports for audiences targeting, insights, and measurements
Providing targeting solutions that optimize the client’s strategies and consumer value propositions
Evaluating performance of targeted shopper campaigns using appropriate analyses
Working with both Field Analytics and Sales teams to build relationships with key contacts on client accounts
Performing ad hoc custom analyses to help design future digital/in-store marketing campaigns
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s preferred in Statistics, Math, Business Analytics, or other related quantitative fields (Data Science, etc.)
1+ years of experience, preferably in a related field (analytics, retail, consulting, etc.) using Python or R in a quantitative and/or analytical capacity
Ability to rapidly develop sufficient familiarity with proprietary data systems and IT infrastructure to extract data needed to support quantitative research projects
Extensive experience with SQL required
Previous experience working analyzing digital promotional data within a CPG, retail or data-driven environment helpful
Experience preferred in advanced Python development (ie pandas), modeling, segmentation; and development of visualization data in Power BI
