The successful candidate will report into a Finance Manager. This will include working with central accounting, finance operation and Global financial teams to ensure we have a controlled accounting process to do month end accounting and reporting activities in a manner fitting with our "Customer Obsession", “Deliver Results” and “Insist on Highest Standard” philosophy.
The Senior Staff Accountant responsibilities include month end activities and ensure proper review of account balances for Amazon, preparation and review of monthly/quarterly/annually reconciliations and balance sheet analysis. This position will support the management in all aspects of financial accounting, reporting systems, procedures and policies. This position will also play an important role in promoting systems/process development within department to ensure ongoing efficiency and control improvements.

- Use data and make recommendations to influence strategic decision-making and planning. Independently align financial and operational analyses with your business partners, challenging business partner assumptions when necessary
- Manage all reporting and analytics deliverables within agreed SLA's established with Central Accounting.

- Partner with Central Accounting and Finance Business Integration (FBI) team to manage projects coordination and test cases with high standards of quality.
- Partner with Service Center teams to document month-end close issues; make recommendations for improved controls, as necessary.
- Create reporting capabilities and communicate the operational results through monthly reviews with FBI teams.
