This position will report to the O2C Process Delivery Supervisor and act as a coordinator of O2C teams focused on Cash Application, Client Credit Management, Dispute Management and Collections. The candidate will act as deputy to the Supervisor during busy periods. Key attributes of this role include:
o Support Team Leader with the coordination of the team.
o Support Junior O2C Analysts in regular Ops calls, 1:1’s, IDP’s, develop skills, point of contact and escalations.
o Hold regular meetings, coach, and mentor team’s Junior analysts, recognize key employees.
o Preparation of decks, reports, and presentations of the team’s performance for management.
o Support migration of O2C processes from countries throughout the Americas to San Jose, Costa Rica and prepare O2C related process documentation (process maps and work instructions).
o Oversee escalated AR, credit issues, dispute management, cash application and ensure timely resolution.
o Work directly with large corporate clients reviewing Accounts Receivable balances, proactively collecting on delinquent payments.
o Identify disputes and work with business stakeholders and corporate clients to resolve.
o Develop a strong understanding of the business, including product, industry & client knowledge.
o Provide bad debt reserve recommendations per corporate policy.
o Review clients credit limit status and work with internal stakeholders to recommend changes to limits, including actions to block client’s credit.
o Act as senior team member, developing skills & knowledge of other junior analysts.
o Identify and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the O2C function, ensuring that improvements are incorporated in the work routine.
o Ensure robust compliance environment with applicable policies, procedures, and processes.
o Ensure strong working knowledge of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level agreements (SLAs), providing inputs to continuously improve performance benchmarks.
o Build strong relationship with key stakeholders including corporate clients.
o Apply the cash correctly following company’s instructions.
o This is not a Team Lead position, but a coordinator role with an accountability degree different than Junior, Analysts and Seniors.
What your background should look like:
Experience:
4+ years of experience in O2C functions / organization.
Diversified Industrial Products/Manufacturing industry experience preferred.
Prior experience in a financial shared services center environment, supporting multiple countries / business units.
Deep understanding of end-to-end O2C processes and associated technology platforms.
Prior experience coordinating teams is a plus.
Ability to work in culturally diverse teams with many levels of personnel.
Knowledge:
Undergraduate degree in Finance / Accounting.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Proficiency in English.
