As an Appointment setter the person will need to find placement for injured workers in their transition from light duty work at nonprofit organizations like thrift stores, foodbanks, YMCAs, shelter and others. Also, the appointment setter will need to make sure the IW (injured workers) are fulfilling their shift, clocking in and out correctly and at their job site, to contact them in case there is any issue with their timesheets and update this information. v
Responsibilities: Organize and sort an automated report you receive every day. Send updates to the Examiners so they can provide it to the employer, so they know we are working to find a placement for the IW. Using your daily report, you will start your calling process by entering the claim number in SIMS and locating Nonprofit organizations near the IW. Make at least 5 calls per claim. Adding notes after each one, recording your interaction. Once you find placement, notify by email the corresponding examiner. They will let you know if it’s approved for you to confirm to the nonprofit. Update your report and choose a different file to work on. You must document every call, email, text message and update in SIMS. Contact IW when you notice they are not clocking in and out correctly or if they are outside of their job location. Keep communication with the examiner and other team members regarding nonprofits not accepting volunteers anymore or closed locations. Send reminders in case some actions were not taken on a claim.
