Responsibilities
Part of a team responsible for delivering high-speed fiber optic services to the residents of Manitoba.
Adhere to and promotes the environmental, health & safety policies of AFL
Perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned
Personal Qualities
Punctual & Reliable
Independent - ability to work well under limited supervision
Desire to learn & work in shallow utility environment
Interpersonal skills – ability to work well on a team
Qualifications
Previous Utility of construction experience is an asset
Capable of working in all temperatures and climates and in confined spaces
Ability to travel to various site-based projects if required
Interpersonal skills – ability to work well on a team
Working Conditions
Physically demanding workload
Work location: Rural Manitoba
Work hours: Shift work
Traveling is required
Minimum Education
Valid Class 1, 3 or 5 Driver’s License
Certifications & Licenses not required but preferred
Previous Telecommunication experience is an asset
