Transforming Inquiry into Learning and Teaching (TILT) is a unit within the portfolio of Simon Fraser University's Associate Vice-President, Learning & Teaching. We generate and support teaching and learning research and scholarship. We partner with instructors to make sense of their teaching practice using theory, reflection, and action. We build capacity through consultation, workshops, seminars, funding opportunities, and communities of practice to help instructors actualize their ideas and values of teaching. We are self-reflective about our work, and we share our stories to celebrate SFU's teaching communities and promote recognition and respect for teaching scholarship. About the Role The Program Assistant provides administrative, financial, and operational support to the supervisor. The role assists the supervisor by responding to requests, supporting the planning and execution of workshops and events, and supporting the preparation and design of workshop materials, promotional materials, scholarly presentations, publications and external funding proposals. The Program Assistant monitors and maintains social media channels; updates the TILT website and provides financial support to the Coordinator, TILT with respect to the operating and program budgets.
