Production Equipment Repairer
We are looking for a mechanically-minded, technically adept and safety-focused individual to join our maintenance team.
Responsibilities:
Performing a range of repair duties including but not limited to:
o Part installation and replacement
o Inspection of equipment to determine requirement for repair
o Assisting with preventative maintenance on a wide range of industrial plant equipment including hydraulic presses, colouring line, and bagging line conveyors.
o Testing and adjusting repaired products for proper functioning
o Ensuring the maintenance of a safe and clean work environment

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week

Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 5-10 years related on-the-job experience
- Functional Welding Skills (license/certification not required)
- Technical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Functional communication skills in English (required) and Tagalog (strong asset)
- Experience in a safety-sensitive environment is an asset
- Shercom is a safety sensitive environment and candidates are required to pass a pre-employment drug test that includes Cannabis (THC) as a condition of employment
