Temple Audio builds modular pedalboard systems designed for musicians. We’ve worked with artists that have played for bands like One Republic, Modest Mouse, Rhianna, and Avril Lavigne (to name a few). Our mission is to help Artists pursue their best performance—whether that's an amateur building their first pedalboard, or a professional planning their next tour rig. We are seeking an independent and motivated Production Assistant, Manufacturing to join our team. As a Production Assistant, you will play a key role in the production and quality of our musical instrument equipment. You will be responsible for assembling small parts, packaging products, and quality control. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, be detail oriented, and not compromise on quality. Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of production activities such as machining, powder coating, and assembly
Inspect and ensure the quality and integrity of components and materials used in the production process
Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of tools and materials
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues as they arise, collaborating with team members and supervisors
Conduct quality checks and tests on finished products to ensure they meet company standards
Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
Meet production quotas and deadlines while maintaining product quality
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing processes and efficiency
Maintain inventory levels for specific product SKUs
Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel
Requirements and skills
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in machine operating or a similar manufacturing role is a plus
Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to use hand and power tools effectively
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
Basic computer skills
Effective communication and teamwork—we like to maintain a fun and respectful work environment
Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed
Willingness to learn and adapt to new manufacturing techniques and technologies
Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety protocols
Experience with operating forklift is a plus
