Job Summary
Supporting the manufacturing of pharmaceutical products according to the production schedule, the Facilities Production Technician is responsible for daily cleaning of GMP areas for manufacturing and filling, monitoring the manufacturing schedule and preparing manufacturing rooms as per schedule. Additionally, the Facilities Production Technician is required to demonstrate their understanding and adhering to good manufacturing process (GMP) and health and safety
standards, including safe working practices and environmental control.
Responsibilities

- Follow all written procedures according to GMP standards.
- Perform routine facility cleaning for manufacturing and filling clean suites.
- Wash and sanitize manufacturing equipment as required.
- Perform routine EM and utility (water, compressed air, nitrogen) sampling as per sample schedule.
- Replace cleanroom filters and clean lab coolers, freezers, incubators as per SAP schedule.
- Restock daily cleanroom passthroughs with gowning materials and request more materials from warehouse using Kanban system as required.
- Assist in room commissioning activities with technician when required.
- Communicate with manufacturing and QC supervisors to schedule cleaning and sampling activities.
- Assist in room commissioning activities with technician when required.
- Works with other facility staff and company departments to ensure production schedule is maintained to the best of their ability.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Education, Experience & Skills
- A high school diploma or equivalent level of education is required.
- Manufacturing experience is not necessary but would be considered an asset.
- Previous experience in the food and/or fast-food industry would be considered highly beneficial.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite products such as Teams, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- This role requires the removal of jewelry as per cleanroom gowning requirements.
- Ability to lift and move materials/equipment when needed.
- Able to work on ladders or at heights when required.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow standard operating procedures, protocols, work instructions, and other policies/procedures is required.
- Demonstrate good work ethic and ability to work alone or in a group setting.
- Must be able to ascend/decend stairs and have the abilitiy to life up to 50lbs.
- Ability and flexibility to adapt and complete shift work including days, evenings and weekends.
- Completion of a pre-medical is a requirement for this role.
- All successful candidates must successfully complete a security clearance check.
