The selected candidate will organize and track site training and badging, coordinate orientation sessions and materials, and oversee the maintenance and upkeep of all facilities. The successful candidate MUST BE local to Fort Mc Murray, AB. This is NOT a hybrid or remote role. Oversee the site badging process, including the issuance, renewal, termination, ongoing maintenance, and auditing of badges for employees, contractors, and visitors, ensuring compliance and resolving discrepancies.
Maintain company-wide training tracking system for all sites, scheduling both new and updated training for employees as required
Present new hire orientation and schedule and organize new hire training.
Prepare accurate records and up-to-date documentation for new hire orientation and training
Assist in the evaluation of the effectiveness of training through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics.
Foster a culture of learning and development within the organization.
Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of all facilities, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Coordinate regular inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance for buildings and equipment.
Collaborate with vendors and contractors for facility-related projects and services.
Stay updated on industry best practices and trends and act as the primary point of contact for all inquiries related to site badging, orientation, training, and facilities.
Assist team members in other HR & HSE initiatives and projects as needed.
Required Qualifications:
Diploma in Business Admin, Training, Human Resources, Education, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in training and orientation, or in a similar role.
Must have own form of transportation to and from work (public transit not available to current office location).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) is an asset.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with integrity.
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
