is seeking to fill a Group Insurance & Retirement Administrator to join their team in St. John’s, NL. Pippy Insurance & Financial is a leading provider of group insurance and retirement programs. They specialize in offering tailored benefit packages to organizations of all sizes. As a group insurance and retirement administrator, you’ll play a vital role in managing the client’s benefit programs.
Position Overview: Pippy Insurance& Financial is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Group Insurance & Retirement Administrator to join the team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the administrative details for group-benefit clients. This role requires a strong understanding of group insurance and retirement programs.
Responsibilities:
Manage the day-to-day administration of group benefit programs, addressing inquiries from clients, coordinating with our insurance providers, resolving client concerns in a timely and courteous manner.
Manage the onboarding process for new and existing group benefit clients, ensuring a smooth transition and timely implementation.
Prepare annual renewal reports.
Conducting benefit cost analysis.
Qualifications:
Completion of LLQP (Life License Qualification Program)
Diploma in Business Administration or equivalent experience (at least 3+ years’ experience in group insurance and retirement administration)
Relevant certifications, such as CEBS, are a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills - ability to effectively communicate benefit concepts to clients/employees at all levels
Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities - comfortable working with data.
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Maintain confidentiality and be able to handle sensitive information with discretion
Willingness to learn and adapt to changing priorities
