Reporting directly to ownership, the ideal candidate is a seasoned, career focused individual who has a proven track record in leadership, professionalism and with a strong ambition to thrive.
The Role:
Manage all accounting and payroll operations
Oversee lead administrators within the individual companies within group
Prepare and submit dealership financial statements to manufacturers and banks
Prepare monthly reconciliations for dealership financial statements
Investigate and complete bank reconciliations
Generate regular financial reports
Handle assorted general ledger transactions
Manage working capital and monthly cash flow requirements
Oversee the maintenance of employee benefits for dealership staff
Administer payroll process that aligns with Corporate and Legal best practices
Process new employees and departures into both dealership and payroll software applications
Manage employee files
The Qualifications:
5+ years’ experience in a senior-level accounting role
Post Secondary degree/diploma in accounting
Canadian Chartered Professional Accounting (CPA) designation, considered an asset
Possess a strong understanding of the financial workings of the automotive industry
Exceptional attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize and multi-task
Ability to maintain a high level of discretion and confidentiality
Ability to self-manage oneself in a fast paced and deadline-oriented role
Strong written and verbal communication skills
