The important details:
Position Title: Group Fitness Instructor (Indoor Cycle)
Location: Cheam Leisure Centre - 45501 Market Way, Chilliwack, BC V2R 0P2
Terms: Permanent, Part Time 2-10 hours per week
Shift: Shifts vary, will include weekday mornings, evenings and weekends
Rate: $29.80 per hour

Your qualifications
- Must be at least 19 years of age
- Indoor Cycle Instructor Certification
- Current Standard First Aid and CPR-C & AED certificate
- Current YMCA Fitness - individual Conditioning Level 2 or equivalent
- Current YMCA Group fitness or equivalent certificate
- Older adult certifications are an asset
- Guidance and/or Nutrition an asset
Your responsibilities:
- Instruct Group Fitness classes
- Assist with the development and implementation of group fitness program plans
- Assist members with their fitness programs in a positive and professional manner
- Ensures the safety of all members, participants and staff by following YMCA standards, policies and procedures
- Perform member orientations to the fitness facility
- Assist with training new volunteers/staff in procedures and practices
- Build meaningful relationships through daily interaction with YMCA members, visitors, and colleagues
- Perform all mandatory administration duties and records
- Clean all prescribed areas based on infection prevention protocols including fitness and high touch areas
