Job Overview
The Parts Person plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our service department by managing the inventory of parts and supplies. This position involves sourcing, ordering, and maintaining parts for various mechanical systems. Duties
- Manage inventory levels and ensure timely sourcing of parts to meet demand.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking parts and inventory.
- Assist technicians in identifying and ordering necessary parts for repairs and maintenance.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries regarding parts availability and specifications.
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable pricing and terms for parts procurement.
- Perform data entry tasks related to inventory management and order processing.
- Collaborate with the service team to forecast demand planning for commonly used parts.
- Maintain organized storage of parts and ensure cleanliness in the work area.

- Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with clients and team members.
- Ability to negotiate effectively with vendors for optimal purchasing outcomes.

Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on resolving issues promptly and efficiently
- Experience in demand planning and inventory management
- Proficiency in data entry and using relevant software systems
- Knowledge of mechanical components
- Ability to negotiate effectively and source parts efficiently
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
