The Opportunity
Lounsbury Heavy-Duty Truck Centre in Fredericton is looking for a Parts Advisor.
This is a full-time position. The hours of work are Monday to Friday, from 8am to 5pm.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service at the Parts and Service to walk-in customers and customers calling into the dealership.
  
• Assemble containers and crates in the Parts area: keep it clean and organized.
• Answer phone calls and emails from customers, looking to book an appointment or get a status update.
  
• Write up a repair order and document customers' concerns to ensure accurate information is provided to the mechanic.
  
• Perform regular physical inventory to ensure all stock levels are accurate on the system. Track the ordering status of the ordered parts.
  
• Check and advise the customers if repairs are approved under warranty.
• Oversee workflow in the Parts and Service Department.
  

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
  
• Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driver's abstract.
  
• Previous experience in managing staff is an asset.
  
• Must be computer literate - be able to use Microsoft Outlook, and Excel, and be able to learn a new computer program.
  
• Must be willing to learn how to drive a forklift.
  
• Experience in the truck industry, rental, or automotive industry is an asset.
  
• Has great attention to detail.
  
• Strong interpersonal skills, customer service skills, and troubleshooting skills.
  
• A good team player, has a sense of urgency, and can multi-task.
  
• Good work ethic and detail-oriented.
  
• Ability to perform repetitive lifting.
