Medical Receptionist
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Medical Receptionist to join our clinic. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support in a medical office setting.
Duties
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries
- Verify insurance information and collect co-payments
- Maintain patient records and update electronic medical records
- Assist with billing and coding tasks as needed
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure efficient patient flow
Requirements
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records systems.
- Prior experience working in a medical office setting is preferred
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with front desk operations and administrative tasks
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
