Lead Hand - Residential Construction

Responsibilities:
- Delegating labourers to specific tasks
- Taking the lead on specific labourer related tasks to ensure an efficient workflow
- Load and unload vehicles with supplies, equipment and construction materials
- Move tools, equipment, and construction materials to and from work areas
- Operate hand and power tools
- Clean up rubble and debris on a regular basis to ensure a safe and well maintained construction site
- Move and level earth using shovels and rakes
- Clean, lubricate, and refill tanks as instructed
- Practice work place safety at all time
- Perform other duties as required
- Demonstrated ability to lead labourers, as well as follow direction as required
- Previous experience in a related position
- Positive can-do attitude
- Willing and able to easily follow direction
- Able to lift 50lbs
- Willing and able to work long hours in a fast-pace, physical environment
