LABOURER FOR SNOW REMOVAL
Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic people to join our team for the 2024-2025 snow removal season. The ideal candidates will be responsible for shoveling out areas for the sidewalk machine to clear. This role requires energy and know how to work efficiently while ensuring that all operations are conducted safely and effectively.
Duties
Contract length: 5 months
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 50 per week

This role requires energy and know how to work efficiently while ensuring that all operations are conducted safely and effectively.
Duties
- Manually shovel snow from doorways and corners.
- Work in all kinds of weather and low temperatures.
- Must be willing to learn or know how to operate a sidewalk machine.
- Take instruction from experienced co-workers.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
- Must have a valid drivers license and provide a clean abstract upon hire.
- Need reliable transportation.
- Previous experience isn't necessary but must be willing to learn the correct and safe way to perform the necessary duties.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Candidates should possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety in all aspects of their work.
Contract length: 5 months
Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Experience:
- snow removal: 1 year (preferred)
- Strathmore, AB (required)
Expected start date: 2024-11-01
