Force Inspection Services is a leading oilfield asset and tubular management and services company to the upstream oil and gas industry. Its core business revolves around drill pipe, drill tools, sucker rods, casing and production tubing, coating services, and tubular products for production and completion. Force’s services include in-plant and mobile inspection, repair, machining, and manufacturing. Reporting to the Field Supervisor, the Labourer will support the direct initiatives of the Field Supervisor. This role will require the knowledge of using hand tools and will also be responsible to clean and maintain equipment as necessary. Duties & Responsibilities:
Knowledge and ability to use various hand tools and power tools.
Counting, identification of tubular products and manufactured goods
Unloading of pallets and parts from light-duty trucks
Cleans, maintains, and does minor repairs to equipment.
General housekeeping to ensure a safe and clean work area.
Handling weight up to 50 lbs.
Supports the Shipper/Receiver with coordination during job progress.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Complies with Force Inspection’s Health & Safety program and Occupational Health & Safety Regulations.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
High School diploma, GED (an asset).
Valid Class 5 drivers' licence, with a clean abstract
6 months experience in a construction environment an asset.
H2S ticket , Common Safety Orientation (CSO) and First Aid Training are assets.
Strong English reading and writing skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and multiple stakeholders.
Strong detail orientation; values accuracy and has high standards around quality of work.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment in a timely and effective fashion.
Strong team player with a positive attitude.
Able to work overtime and various shifts.
Special Conditions:
Ability to meet physical requirements including lifting up to 35 lbs., bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for extended periods of time.
Ability to meet pre-employment testing requirements (i.e., drug and alcohol, physical fitness, audiogram, and vision testing)
Ability to work in outdoor Canadian temperatures (-25 degrees to +30 degrees).
Must be able to travel within the province.
This position will be Monday – Friday with occasional overtime or weekends depending on site location needs.
