Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Insulated Metal Panel Installer to join our team. As an Insulated Metal Panel Installer, you will play a crucial role in the construction and installation of insulated metal panels for various projects including warehouse facilities, architectural buildings, and cold storage facilities. You will work closely with our construction team to ensure the successful completion of projects while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. Responsibilities: Panel Installation: Install insulated metal panels according to project specifications and industry standards, ensuring a precise fit and proper sealing to achieve the desired thermal performance. Material Handling: Safely handle and transport insulated metal panels and associated materials to the work area, following all safety protocols and guidelines. Cutting and Fabrication: Accurately measure, cut, and fabricate insulated metal panels to meet project requirements, including openings for doors, windows, and other penetrations. Sealing and Insulation: Apply sealants, adhesives, and insulation materials to ensure airtight and watertight panel joints, maintaining the integrity of the building envelope. Quality Control: Conduct quality inspections to verify that panels are installed correctly, meeting project specifications and quality standards. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), to maintain a safe work environment. Collaboration: Work collaboratively with construction team members, including contractors, supervisors, and project managers, to coordinate panel installation activities and meet project deadlines. Tool Maintenance: Maintain and care for tools and equipment used in panel installation to ensure they are in good working condition. Qualifications: 2 years of insulated panel experience preferred Experience: Proven experience as an Insulated Metal Panel Installer or similar role in the construction industry. Technical Skills: Proficiency in using hand and power tools for cutting, drilling, and fabricating metal panels. Knowledge of insulation materials and sealants is a plus. Blueprint Reading: Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and plans. Safety Awareness: Strong commitment to safety protocols and guidelines, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential hazards. Physical Stamina: Physical fitness and the ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy panels and materials. Attention to Detail: Precision and attention to detail in panel installation to ensure quality and performance. Team Player: Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with other construction professionals. Problem-Solving: Problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and address installation challenges as they arise. Education: High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
