Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Loader Operator to join our team for the 2024-2025 snow removal season. The ideal candidate will be responsible for skillfully operating the loader to clear the snow from parking lots and large sidewalk areas. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting, ensuring that all operations are conducted safely and effectively.
Duties

• Operate heavy equipment skillfully around curbs and parked cars.
• Work in all kinds of weather and low temperatures.
• Must be able to safely shovel snow by hand when needed to.
• Take instruction from experienced co-workers.
• Maintain a clean and organized work space, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Must have a valid drivers license and provide a clean abstract upon hire.
• Need reliable transportation.

Experience

• Previous experience operating a loader for snow removal is necessary.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Candidates should possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety in all aspects of their work.

Job Type: Seasonal
Contract length: 5 months
Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 50 per week

• Loader operation: 1 year (required)
• Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (preferred)
