We’re looking for an Intermediate Auditor to join our team. As an Intermediate Auditor, your main responsibility will be to work closely with our team, supporting the execution of audit engagements for a diverse range of clients. You will assist in ensuring compliance, identifying key areas for improvement, and contributing to the overall success of our audit projects. Job Duties · Support a variety of external audits. · Support in the resolution of any contentious and/or sensitive issues arising from the audit work performed · May assist in the preparation of clear and succinct reports, including constructive and practical recommendations · Present positions, findings and recommendations in verbal and written format · Prepare personal, corporate and trust tax returns · Complete assigned audits within budgeted timeframes, and budgeted costs · Undertake special projects and supports corporate initiatives · Build and maintains effective working relationships with staff at all organizational levels · Operate with unrestricted access to records, property and personnel in carrying out assigned audit work; and safeguard the confidentiality of privileged information obtained from these sources · Perform other duties as assigned if needed Requirements · University degree or college diploma in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field. Candidates actively working towards their diploma/degree may be considered if they are the right fit. · Working towards or CPA finalist is an asset · Ideally minimum experience level is 2 -3 years in assurance · Experience in the completion of audits is mandatory. · Knowledge of Caseware, and Tax Prep is required · Experience in the preparation of corporate and personal tax returns is an asset · Strong interpersonal communication and strong quantitative and qualitative analysis skill · You must have the ability to learn quickly and perform in a team environment · Ability to manage priorities and ability to work in a changing environment · Excellent written and presentation skills · Strong commitment to quality · Excellent judgement and ability to develop relationships with other lines of business · Ability to work under pressure Job Type: Full-time Schedule:
