RESPONSIBILITIES:
Preparing project controls reports such as bi-weekly progress reports and month-end-reports
Developing and maintaining project schedules encompassing the engineering, procurement and construction phases of the project
Tracking and reporting earned value progress including KPI reporting
Assisting in managing project scope changes, including impact analysis and generating change requests in collaboration with project management and engineering teams
Monitoring and reporting project costs throughout the project lifecycle, including tracking expenses, labor costs, materials and equipment, subcontractor costs, and other project-related expenditures
Developing and reporting cash flow including monitoring commitments, incurred and actual costs
Performing cost variance analysis, forecasting and reporting
Performing ad-hoc project analysis and support for project management team
Collaborating with engineering leads to facilitate input into project schedules, progress reporting and change management
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 6-8 years experience in a project controls role
Bachelor’s degree in a related field (engineering, business, or similar)
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Extensive experience with MS Project or Primavera P6
Firm knowledge of project cost control fundamentals, earned value progress reporting with analytical skills and experience in financial analysis
Quality focus with great attention to detail
Good written and oral communication skills
Experience with EPC firms and construction projects is considered an asset
