Title Inside & Outside Sales Support Reports to Operations Manager and Sales Manager Summary The Inside & Outside Sales Support role is a hybrid role, offering an opportunity to work inside our warehouse with a mix of Order Desk/Customer Service/Warehouse duties as well as provide Sales Support in the field. He or she will provide high level customer service to clients and potential customers and maintain a professional level of communication. Job Duties Summary
Assist body shops / collision repair facilities with orders for paint (toners, clears, hardeners, primers, reducers, etc) and paint related materials (i.e. sandpaper, putties, adhesives, masking equipment, detail supplies, safety items, tools, etc)
Assist customers & salespeople with pricing, part numbers, quotes, etc
Prepare customer orders for delivery
Participate in in-house training as offered as well as continuous self-study of product offering to expand product knowledge
Responding to customer inquiries, scheduling meetings and sales appointments, and following up on individual order status.
Prepare for customer meetings with knowledge of shop inventories inside of operating systems. Status of existing back orders, product lines, training courses upcoming.
Monitoring and processing orders in a timely manner, processing for rush orders, and reviewing pending or reoccurring orders to ensure customer satisfaction.
In depth knowledge of in-house software
Managing customer accounts, following up with customers/Operations/Vendors for administrative purposes, and providing troubleshooting assistance with order status, account status and other items.
Advise the sales team of any unusual actively with accounts immediately.
Build and maintain strong and solid relationships with clients and vendors as point of contact.
Enter new customer data and update changes to existing accounts in the corporate database.
Investigate and troubleshoot customer service issues. Follow-up within 24 hours.
Appropriately communicate brand identity and corporate position within the market share and be a brand ambassador.
Be a problem solver for inventory management, auditing material usage, and product usage.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of previous order desk / customer service / junior sales or sales support experience
Automotive industry experience an asset
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Solid computer skills. Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Explorer
Strong accuracy and attention to detail
Above average communication skills. Able to deal with customers, salespeople, vendors and warehouse staff
Strong knowledge of retail and/or wholesale sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques.
Deals effectively and professionally with issues that arise. Strong problem identification and objection resolution skills. Must be able to think on your feet and handle difficult situations
Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers.
Exceptional verbal communication and presentation skills.
Able to perform basic calculations and mathematical figures.
