Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and custodial services, with a focus on industrial cleaning standards. This role is essential in ensuring that our environment remains welcoming, safe, and impeccably clean for both guests and staff.
Duties
Manage daily housekeeping operations, ensuring all areas are cleaned to the highest standards.
Supervise and train housekeeping staff, providing guidance on best practices in cleaning and maintenance.
Develop and implement cleaning schedules that optimize efficiency while maintaining quality.
Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards.
Collaborate with other departments to coordinate housekeeping needs during events or peak times.
Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels are kept at all times.
Address any guest complaints or concerns related to cleanliness promptly and professionally.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in hospitality cleaning.
Experience
Proven experience in a housekeeping management role within the hospitality industry or similar environment.
Strong knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and custodial practices.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
Familiarity with hotel operations is a plus.
