Key Responsibilities:

• Review project plans, specifications, and blueprints to determine scope of work and material requirements.
• Obtain quotes from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Calculate material costs, labor costs, and equipment costs.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects.
• Negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers to secure favorable pricing.
• Assist in the preparation of bid proposals.
• Analyze bid results and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and techniques.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in construction estimating.
• Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
• Proficiency in estimating software. Earth Max utilizes Heavy Bid.
