As a General Contractor, we have worked on numerous construction projects including commercial, agricultural and industrial. CIC is a COR Certified business. We are seeking a full-time experienced Controller who will take a hands-on role managing all financial operations of the company. As part of this position, this individual will manage CIC Inc. and affiliated operating/parent companies. POSITION SUMMARY: We are seeking a skilled Controller to join our team. As the Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities of the company and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Prepare and analyze financial statements; including balance sheets, income statements, and bank reconciliation. - Prepare annual and quarterly financial reports. - Coordinate and assist in providing information and statements for internal and external audit. - Provide leadership and support to accounts receivable and payable. - Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and accounting standards. - Oversee payroll administration. - Responsible for review and administration of pension and health insurance programs. - Responsible for insurance and bonding requirements. - Additional duties as required. QUALIFICATIONS: - Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in business, accounting, or related field. - CPA (Certified Public Accountant) Certification required. - Minimum 10 years accounting experience, with 5+ years of experience as a Controller or Assistant Controller. - Experience with Quick Books software. - Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting and cost control principles, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). - Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills. - Time management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines. - Experience with computer skills included Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel and Word) Hours of Work: - In-Office Position, Full Time. - Monday to Friday 7:30 am. to 4:30 pm.
