Class 1 Truck Driver
Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations. This is a vital role in our organization as you will ensure timely and safe delivery of our products.
Duties:
- Safely operate commercial vehicles, including trucks and trailers, to transport goods
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations to ensure safe transportation of goods
- Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle, including checking tires, brakes, and fluid levels
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members to coordinate delivery schedules
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding transportation and safety protocols
Qualifications:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a Truck Driver or similar role
- Knowledge of freight transportation regulations and procedures
- Basic automotive repair skills are a plus
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and clients
Preference will be given to drivers that can drive manual transmissions.
