Class 1 Instructor
Professional Transport Driver Training School, a leading provider of professional driving instruction, is seeking an experienced and dedicated Class 1 Driving Instructor to join our team. We are both PVI and MPI approved school and committed to delivering the highest level of driver education, focusing on safety, proficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Provide clear, concise, and professional instruction to students seeking Class 1 driver's licenses.
-Develop and implement lesson plans tailored to each student's needs and skill level -Conduct in yard and on-road practical training.
-Evaluate student performance, providing constructive feedback, and documenting progress. -Ensure compliance with all relevant rules and regulations, including company policies, PVI and MPI requirements.
-Maintain and submit accurate records of student attendance, progress, and completed certifications to PVI and MPI as required.
-Collaborate with fellow instructors and management to continually improve the quality of our instructional program. -Participate in ongoing professional development to remain current on industry best practices, regulations, and PVI standards.
Requirements:
-Valid Class 1 driver's license.
-Certified Driving Instructor.
-Valid instructor permit of MPI
-Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
-Ability to provide clear and patient instruction to a diverse range of students.
-Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
-Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required.
-Proficiency in second language is a plus.
