Business Development Specialist

Overview
The Business Development Representative (BDR) is a pivotal member of our sales team; responsible for generating and qualifying leads to support the growth of our customer base. The BDR plays a crucial role in identifying new business opportunities, initiating contact with new customer signups, through onboarding, and contributing to our overall sales success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluating and qualifying leads in determining their level of interest and readiness for engagement with the sales team.
  • Collect and maintain accurate lead information within the CRM system.
  • Schedule appointments or meetings for Account Executives (AEs) with high revenue & qualified leads.
  • Ensure seamless handover of leads to the AEs, providing them with well-qualified prospects.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with entry-level clients, understanding their needs and providing relevant information.
  • Nurture entry-level clients to keep them engaged and interested in our products or services.
  • Collaborate closely with Account Executives and other sales team members to align strategies and ensure effective lead handovers.
  • Share information and best practices to enhance the overall sales process.
  • Work closely with customer support to facilitate seamless onboarding and setup for clients.
  • Approach all lead interactions with a customer-centric attitude, providing value and addressing customer inquiries.
Requirements:
  • Community-minded individual, energized by helping non-profit organizations achieve their fundraising goals
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Adaptable and willing to learn and grow within a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organization, prioritization, and time management skills
  • 1-2 years of sales experience as a business development representative or similar roles
  • Bachelor's degree in business, communications, sales, or equivalent is considered an asset
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience with CRM systems, ideally Hubspot
  • Proficiency in MS Office

Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
