The Role
As a member of the Technical Services department, you will report to the supervisor, support systems & information management. This role provides document control and administrative support to the construction management teams at our northern operations. You will administer document control processes with accuracy and efficiency facilitating the transmission of documents between construction teams and vendors.
In this role, you will:
Be responsible for delivering project document control in accordance with Cameco’s procedures ensuring compliance with Cameco’s processes for controlled and not controlled documents
Be responsible for project filing, archiving, retention and handover preparation, electronic document flow and distribution within project teams (supply chain management, construction management and vendors)
Ensure effective and efficient management of project documents to a high degree of reliability for security, version, visibility and availability while maintaining a controlled reliable audit trail
Support and enable adoption of new processes and digital tools with construction management teams
Required:
Certificate or diploma in administration
Three to five years of relevant work experience
Equivalent combination of education and work experience considered
Exceptional organizational skills and high attention to detail
Work a rotational schedule (14-days in/14-days out) and commute to site by aircraft
Recommended:
Experience with electronic file sharing networks or web-based document management systems
Previous experience in construction, engineering or project management work environments

The Cigar Lake operation is located in northern Saskatchewan and operates on a two week on/two week off rotational schedule. Employees commute to the site by aircraft from designated locations in Saskatchewan.
