We are looking for a QA Officer Injectable Manufacturing to join our Technical Operations and Quality Assurance team, based at our UCB campus located in Braine-l'Alleud, Wallonia, Belgium.
About the role :
You will ensure the implementation and maintenance of an effective Quality Management System on the Braine site, guaranteeing that local technical operations related to the manufacturing of injectable pharmaceutical products comply with applicable national and international regulations (GMP) as well as relevant UCB quality policies.
You will ensure that marketed injectable pharmaceutical products are manufactured and supplied in accordance with UCB product quality standards.
You will proactively assist operations in identifying, developing, and implementing quality and operational excellence improvements in response to business requirements, technical changes, and regulatory demands.
What you will do :
You will review and approve change controls, failure investigations, deviations, and CAPA plans.
You will review and authorize relevant standard operating procedures (SOPs).
You will provide support in the preparation and execution of internal and external audits.
You will assist the manager in achieving team objectives.
You will act as a replacement for other QA officers in the team as directed by the manager.
Interested? For this role, we are looking for the following education, experience, and skills:
A minimum of 3 years of experience in a regulated pharmaceutical environment in a similar role and/or experience related to sterile manufacturing
The ability to work closely with the injectable manufacturing department and under the responsibility of the injectable manufacturing quality assurance manager
Bachelor’s degree in a pharmaceutical field
Fluency in both written and spoken French and English
Strong internal communication skills, both oral and written
Supportive, collaborative, and results-oriented, with the ability to work effectively under pressure
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work environments
