Are you passionate in supporting clients in defining and implementing their Data Governance strategy, and delivering different Data Governance, regulatory and Quality projects?
We’re looking for a talented data strategy & governance manager to join our Technology Consulting department as part of our Data & Analytics team.
What you’ll learn and do

Design and develop Data Governance technology solutions that span data quality, data dictionary & business glossaries, data standards and policies

Take care of organizational design, processes, policies, roles & responsibilities

Lead and collaborate with the Data Governance team in creation of a Data Governance business case, resource plans, implementation roadmap, success metrics, and assessment of client’s enterprise data systems

Assess current ‘as-is’ situation, identify requirements and pain points to formulate a vision and strategy for a data-driven organization

Co-create with clients for defining their way forward in becoming data-driven as an organization

Create a roadmap to achieve the successful implementation of a data strategy in all its aspects - Technology, Culture, Governance, Processes, Skills & Competencies

Play an active role in business development by identifying, approaching, attracting and retaining new clients.

Take responsibility for managing the resources and budget on client projects

Manage, develop, train and mentor the supervised teams and assess their performance.
Who you are, what you’re like
-
Obtained a Master’s Degree in Economics, (Business) Engineering, Sciences, IT, Computer Sciences or Statistics
-
At least 5 - 8 years of experience with Data Governance, Data Strategy, and Data Management
-
Understanding and/or experience with one or more of the following or equivalent technologies - Informatica, Collibra, Alation, Zaloni is a plus

Passionate about Data, Data Management, Data Governance, Data Strategy, Data Quality and Analytics
-
Understanding of leading practices and industry trends for Data Governance operating model that includes designing Data Governance organisation, roles and responsibilities, success metrics
-
Understanding and experience with enterprise data concepts such as Master Data Management and Enterprise Data Warehouse, experience with MDM standards
-
Understanding and experience with one or more compliance areas is a big plus - BCBS 239, CCPA, GDPR, data privacy and security standards;
-
Familiarity in frameworks such as CMMI - DMM, DMBOK, Mike 2.0

Experience in managing the quality of (meta)data
-
Change facilitator for Data related topics (for internal and client audience).

Strong leadership skills.

Excellent communication skills and able to connect with all levels in an organisation.

Fluent in Dutch and/or French, and English
