Senior (Data-Focused) Java Developer (NL + EN)

Position: Senior (Data-Focused) Java Developer
Location: Mechelen, Belgium
Type: Full Time
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (2 day per week on-site)
Language: Fluent in Dutch + English (at least C1)
We are seeking a Senior Java Developer for a software solutions-driven company focused on implementing innovative, data-driven processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong Java background, a passion for data analytics, and the ability to contribute to data-focused initiatives within the development team. Security experience is a plus, as the team is continuously improving the security of their solutions. This role offers a hybrid work environment with two days on-site in Mechelen.

Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience with Java 8, 17 and 21
- Strong experience with Spring/Spring Boot
- Proven expertise in Data Analytics/Engineering and a keen interest in data-driven development
- A good foundation in security is desirable to help improve the security of software solutions
- Experience with AWS
