GSK Belgium is hiring a seasoned HR Business Partner with operational experience in the Manufacturing industry to make a positive impact on the Vaccines employees experience.
This key role includes:
support to a population of approximately 700 employees in the Packaging, Visual Inspection, Logistics and Warehouse departments (onsite presence required)
working closely with your HR colleagues in charge of other areas of the Belgium Manufacturing site.
Job Purpose:
The HRBP Vaccines (Vx) Manufacturing will partner with leadership teams and their teams to effectively execute the people plan, leveraging local context and expertise by delivering HR services in line with our HR service delivery model.
The role will report to the HR Business Partner for Vaccines Manufacturing Operations and Quality and support the Packaging, Visual Inspection and the Logistics and Warehouse departments as a trusted partner to the business to drive business change, impact in talent, leadership, culture and capability.
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Be a trusted and agile HR partner to leaders to drive the Vaccines people agenda and deliver against priorities, holding a strong understanding of the Vaccines business
You will demonstrate a true understanding of our HR model to coach and develop line managers to deliver business priorities supported by local policies and processes
Develop pragmatic solutions to address complex local business issues and leveraging wider the HR Resources to support delivery
Diagnose and / or deliver change projects in line with the HR agenda
Utilise digital, data and analytics tools and processes to gain forward looking insights to diagnose issues and inform execution of the people strategy
Coach leaders to increase diversity through recruitment and talent management.
Why you?
Basic qualifications: We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
You hold a Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Economics, Legal or related
You demonstrate proven experience in
a. delivering complex HR operational solutions b. managing populations of 300+ employees (blue collars, white collars and exempts) c. the pharma manufacturing or highly regulated manufacturing/industrial environment at a local and regional level d. Employee Relations and Unions engagement in the context of large and complex business transformations e. delivering interventions across a range of HR activities including leadership development, talent management, executive coaching, building high performing teams, capability builds, performance management, etc. f. translating business objectives into innovative solutions g. designing, developing and implementing new HR strategies
You negotiate and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
You have a proven ability to act as an internal counsellor through diagnosis, workshops and training facilitation, etc.
You act as a change champion
You are interested in, and open to work onsite to closely support your populations
Fluency in French written and spoken (must have), with a good command of English.
Preferred qualifications: If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
HR experience in a manufacturing environment in highly regulated sectors such as pharmaceutical, industrial, aeronautical, automotive, etc.
Exposure to Logistics / Warehouse populations
Demonstrated analytical thinking, problem solving, and decision-making skills
Critical thinking with success in developing innovative solutions to business issues
Ability to listen and understand the needs of the
employees, together with those of the company
Ability to manage multiple, complex issues and prioritise projects concurrently
Provide and demonstrate change management leadership
