Position Overview: As a Restaurant Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant. You will ensure that our guests receive the highest level of service, support and train our staff, and assist in managing the restaurant’s operational and financial aspects. This position requires strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a commitment to creating a positive dining experience for our guests. Key Responsibilities:
Team Supervision: Lead, motivate, and manage front-of-house and back-of-house staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent service and teamwork.
Customer Service: Ensure that guests receive a top-notch dining experience by addressing their needs, resolving any issues, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
Operational Oversight: Oversee daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures, staffing, and scheduling.
Training and Development: Train new employees on restaurant procedures, service standards, and health and safety regulations; conduct ongoing staff development and performance evaluations.
Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, assist with ordering supplies, and manage stock to ensure the restaurant is well-stocked and operational.
Financial Management: Assist with cash handling, maintain accurate financial records, and help manage budgets and expenses.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards to maintain a safe and compliant working environment.
Guest Relations: Engage with guests to gather feedback, address concerns, and ensure overall satisfaction.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within a restaurant or similar environment.
Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and guide staff.
Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a focus on creating positive guest experiences.
Solid organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail.
Proficiency in restaurant management software and MS Office Suite.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in food service.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
