Internship: Verification Engineering (f/m/div)
Are you interested in the semiconductor industry and would like to learn more from our experienced component verification engineers? Semiconductors are a key element in the energy conversion chain. This specific internship is suitable for students within a degree program in Electronics, Mechatronics, System Engineering or similar! Do you bring Matlab skills as well as knowledge of semiconductor products? Then we should get to know each other! Infineon Villach is where you should be!
In your new role you will:
- Support component verification engineers in the validation of isolated gate drivers
- Develop setups using automation
- Design PCB boards with Altium
- Document measurement results and debugging setups
- Assist with day-to-day task such as soldering components and maintaining lab equipment

You successfully meet the requirements, if you are a motivated and committed student from the field of Electronics, Mechatronics, System Engineering or similar. You are best equipped for this task if you additionally offer:
- Basic understanding of semiconductor products
- Solid understanding of electronic devices and lab equipment like scopes , function generators and DMMs
- Programming skills in MATLAB
- Hardware skills in soldering and assembling circuit boards
- Good communication skills
This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry (full-time), employment group B for bachelor students, employment group D for master students (https://www.feei.at/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/minimum-salaries-white-collar-workers-2024.pdf).
