Visitor Information Centre - Customer Service Officer Casual
Are you looking for a change in your career? We are seeking a passionate and motivated Casual Customer Service Officer to join our dynamic team at our visitor information centre.
This position plays an important role in ensuring the quality of the Visitor Information Centre’s customer service delivery and administrative operations.
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Customer Service Officer to provide support. Willing to assist in driving key actions related to the Visitor Information Centre. You will also undertake research, draft correspondence, and prepare briefings to support the Centre's activities, all while contributing to the broader goals of Council.
This role has the potential to work weekend roster if required.

You will need:
- Current Driver’s License
- Demonstrated high level customer service skills and experience.
- Experience in the tourism industry with knowledge in the provision of visitor information, or a demonstrated ability to transfer existing skills to the role.
- Knowledge of geographical and tourism assets within the local and surrounding areas or demonstrated ability and commitment to develop this knowledge quickly.
- Efficient time management and administrative skills with a working knowledge of social media, Microsoft Office (WORD and EXCEL), and point of sale software.
- Hourly Rate starting at $31.25 per hour plus 25% casual loading
- Remuneration review on completion of successful probation
- Guaranteed 5% increase in 2025
- 11.5% superannuation
