Parks, Recreation And Reserves Leading Hand
Are you passionate about outdoor environments and dedicated to creating vibrant, well-maintained parks and reserves? We are seeking a motivated and experienced individual to join our dynamic team as the Parks, Recreation and Reserves Leading Hand.
The Parks, Recreation and Reserves Leading Hand plays a critical role in supporting the Supervisor by overseeing daily operations and providing leadership to the team. The leading hand will be responsible for on-site supervision, ensuring that maintenance and operational activities are carried out efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. You will provide hands-on leadership, guiding team members in their tasks while ensuring that work is completed on schedule and in line with operational goals.
We are looking for a skilled individual to provide essential operational support by effectively operating plant, equipment, and vehicles. You will be responsible for ensuring all machinery and vehicles are operated safely and efficiently, while also performing routine maintenance tasks to keep them in optimal condition.

You will need:
- Current Driver’s License
- Certificate IV in Horticulture would be desirable, but not essential or extensive and practical workplace experience that would be deemed equivalent.
- White Card
- Experience in leading multiskilled teams.
- Understanding safe work practices and demonstrated understanding of WHS requirements.
- Starting rate of $76,339.05 as per enterprise agreement
- Remuneration review on completion of successful probation
- Guaranteed 5% increase in 2025
- 11.5% superannuation
- 9-day fortnight
- Option for on-call roster (Pending completion of training)
