But enough about us, let’s talk about you We are in the market for an experienced Recreation Centres Technical Operations Officer. As the Recreation Centres Technical Operations Officer, you will work as part of a passionate team at the Mandurah Aquatic and Recreation Centre (MARC), one of the premier sporting facilities in Western Australia supporting programs and services for the local community. In your role you will be responsible for:
Ensuring the Centres programmed and scheduled maintenance is completed in accordance with the maintenance schedule
Ensuring that the Recreation Centres are compliant with all regulatory requirements
Coordinating the operational impacts of the maintenance schedule and any unplanned works and acting as the conduit between the centre management and maintenance services.
What impact will you make?
Supporting the efficient and effective asset maintenance of the Recreation Centres
Overseeing the Recreation Centres asset maintenance to ensure a safe, compliant and healthy environment
Liaising with contractors to ensure effective and efficient management of their service provision.
What can you bring to the team?
Minimum three (3) years previous experience in a similar position or aquatics industry
Knowledge and experience in asset maintenance in an aquatic recreation environment
Ability to train staff on an ongoing basis
Ability to work autonomously
Excellent interpersonal communication skills
Excellent time management skills
Excellent public relations and customer service skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent problem solving and conflict resolution skills
Excellent asset maintenance knowledge and understandin
Understanding of budgetary control and preparation
Understanding of work health and safety principles, practices, and legislation.
The finer details This permanent part-time Level 5 position attracts a pro-rata salary range of $83,427 - $88,868 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
