THE OPPORTUNITY
As a member of our NT Sales team, an exciting opportunity has become available for a Trade Sales Representative with an existing customer base in the beautiful city of Darwin.
This is a permanent full-time role working Monday to Friday from our Berrimah facility with regular travelling to customers within Darwin and surrounding. A competitive salary package including bonuses + phone + computer + fully maintained company vehicle is on offer.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure monthly Sales targets are met through relationship building with customers
- Open new trading accounts monthly and increase wallet share from existing accounts
- Identifying and developing new customers and confident in cold calling to grow sales
- Preparing project quotations and sales proposals in consultation with operational and internal sales teams
- Providing exceptional customer service with existing Trade customers
- Ability to multitask, work independently while travelling and scheduling your own day
- Strict adherence to critical safety rules and contributing to a safe working environment.
- Essential – Proven sales track record with success managing and developing high value accounts
- Essential - Business Development experience, encompassing excellent business building and prospecting skills
- Essential – Experience in building or manufacturing industry
- Desirable - Estimating experience would be highly valued
- Passionate about creating brand loyalty and building customer relationships
- Reliable, highly organised, autonomous and able to multitask
- Be action oriented and able to effectively communicate at all levels
- Willingness to enhance the customer experience by working with enthusiasm, energy, and pace
